Outreaching youth work offers all people under the age of 29 the opportunity for personal guidance and support. As a priority, youth outreach workers serve young people who are not in education, training or employment.
Together with a outreach youth worker, you can think about issues such as:
- ordinary everyday situations and activities
- health, well-being and mental well-being
- study places and jobs
- finances, income, applying for benefits and benefits (e.g. Kela)
- registering as unemployed, dealing with the TE Office or employment services
- housing and housing-related matters
Etsivä Cafe
Outreach youth work organises Etsivä Cafe evenings at Kuovi Youth Centre on Tuesdays from 16:00-19:00 from 16.1.2024 on an “open door” basis. The evenings are open to all young people aged 17-29. Coffee and snacks, games and entertainment.
